Where to begin?!

Well, first I would have to say I am absolutely OBSESSED with nature. Ever since I was a little girl I was barefoot, with ratty hair, wearing hand-me-down clothes, running amok on acres of land, usually by myself, but always with my dog as my adventure partner.

My first memories include nature.

I have also been, and am, a wild child, moon child, nature child, feral child.

As life got harder and I got further from myself and from nature.

I experienced deaths in my family, divorce, being a single mom, other failed relationships, and just generally had a hard time.

Until I made a choice to change things and get back to me, back to my roots, back to my wild.

As I did things for myself, I read a book called “Wild” by Cheryl Stray, a true story about a woman that was going through her own hardships (even some similar to mine) and she used backpacking to get through it. Even though she had never backpacked before she knew she needed to make a change and she wanted a challenge so she just jumped right in. Not EVER backpacking before and she decided to go for months on one of the hardest trails, the Pacific Coast Trail, even though she had NEVER backpacked before. I really related to the feelings she had of wanting to go on an amazing adventure. I knew how backpacking helped me get closer to myself, to my family, to nature and I decided that I wanted to create something where I could teach women how to backpack and give them an incredible, life-changing experience, just like what Cheryl Stray and I had been through.

Each woman will find her own path to adventure, but I would love to walk with you on this path.

Everyone has felt a little lost or stuck. Some women want to find their wild, find their adventurous self that has gotten lost along the way because of society, responsibilities, etc.

The only difference between me now and that little girl is about 30 years (or more haha) and even though I may have more responsibilities I still show up in my life just like that little girl did.

I would describe myself as silly, real, raw, & FUN AS HELL to be around!

Others describe me as silly, real, raw, fun, bright light & a badass!

I named my course the Badass Backpacking Babes because I think women doing this and doing it for themselves IS BADASS! It came as quite a surprise when other people told me they thought I was a badass too for getting out there and leading women on life-changing adventures. I’ve always looked at other women forging new paths in life as badasses, so I’m honored to be considered one as well!

How can you become a Badass Babe too? Check out my course and retreat info here!

Growth cannot happen without change.
